A Spark Within
Week 2 | 19 – 23 September

This monologue reflects a true friendship spanning 60 years. A medical event changed everything. Four years later, facing a new challenge and missing my friend’s insights, I drove to the beach to watch the sunrise. I was caught up in it’s blinding light and began to dance and sing a song about her. When I sang it to her an unexpected spark was ignited.
