What is a Clown?
Week 2 | 19 – 23 September
-
A clown story about what a clown is. A piece started as research for an image book for adults. Clown is a point of view, a choice, in this world of joy, fear, and loss. Watching a silent clown show a young girl asks “What is a clown?” and is led on an adventure seeing the seriousness or daily life and the mad, joyful humor as seen in a clowns eyes. The show is a clown routine, and a story performed by classy comedians with Minimum dialogue, precise physical comedy, bright sharp costume and props. Perhaps you would like to try on clown “spectakles” and see the world differently with us.
