Choreographers Jas Ofamo’oni (Auckland, NZ)

Jas Ofamo’oni is of European/Tongan heritage. She recently graduated her Undergraduate in a Bachelor of Dance Studies at the University of Auckland. She is currently studying at the University of Auckland towards her Honours in Dance Studies. This is Jas’ first year entering Short and Sweet festival as a choreographer, as she has been involved as a performer in previous years. Her choreographic interests surround bringing concepts to life that work with the physical and spiritual aspects of the human body, as well as adding aesthetic layers to choreographic movement to enhance an audience’s experience.
