    “The Apple” takes us through the experience of 4 travellers going through customs and border control of an international airport. Based on real stories, this play shows a situation of a kind that none of us would like to go through. With a sense of humour, it reflects about themes like racial profiling and border control restrictions.

    Babel Theatre is a colaborative company created in 2017 with the idea of using cultural diversity as creative tool. Based on devising techniques, the company intertwines a variety of backgrounds and skills, like physical theatre, music and circus, to create stories that ask questions about the world that we live in. The members of Babel are experienced performers that met in the 2016 Culture Clash Project at TAPAC, Auckland. Through sharing their personal cultural identities (Spain, India, Filippines, Singapour, New Zealand) and skills, they are commited to create unique collective stories.
