“My teeth and tongue are used to create power for my lips” – Hummingbird(s) is a journey into the experiences of five women grappling with their global inheritance. The hummingbird is a symbol of taking flight within our means to communicate and connect. This work invites the audience to experience relationships and the complexities that lay within our silent ‘hums’. What happens when one individual’s ‘hum’ meets another?
