Well? I don’t know
A season of self love
An isolated world, we must learn
Only by accepting
To find our sense of self
Constantly drives never ending confusion
Out of our control.
A dance piece exploring how we might read the state of wellness in ourselves and others.

The dancers investigate the impact of physical restriction on the body and how this might force us to change how we negotiate our space. Based on raw movement vocabulary from a previous work, the dancers apply restriction as a way to expand their natural movement parameters.

Who am I? Underneath the clothes, behind the eyes?
A string of breaths, a series of moments, blood slowly running. The ebb and flow.
What came before, that holds me now.
Do I hold it? Does it hold me?
This work explores what we have been gifted, given, entrusted with, thrust into, what has been passed on to us from the women that came before.
Blue eyes
big feet
mess
a love of tea.

As a child she lived in my mind. At times she took over. At times she rested. When her wings spread wide, internal wounds where inflicted. When her wings closed tight, emptiness crept in. This piece explores the beginning, middle and end of how Revolutions are inevitably a fundamental part of society due to the constant fight for equality and freedom that is never ultimately obtained. We then become stuck in an endless loop of trading one set of rules for another. Have we ever had free will? Are we controlled by the invisible walls of society? We are taught we can improve ourselves and gain control but what happens when we try? Does choice really exist or is it just an illusion? Does the Revolution just bury our minds instead of freeing them?
