This story revolves around human emotions which are myriad and complex. How war took a toll on these individuals from different age groups; belonging to different social-economic status.
It also touches upon how cynicism with which people feel about each other and how adversity is, unfortunately, a blessing in disguise in such circumstances. It also depicts the irony as it took the war to bring people close and together but it is the inevitable dichotomy of today’s world.
It also talks about the importance of human life and makes us appreciate the innocence and simplicity of a five-year-old girl who just wanted to live without understanding the complications and greed of the human race. She just wanted to live!
