Cold Coffee
Show 1 | 10 – 11 September
-
A relationship worn in by time has its own rhythms, intricacies and mannerisms specific only to the people that live within them. How we interact with the people that make up the bulk of our lives significantly colors our belief systems- our understanding of intimacy, of affection, of power; the multitudes they contain are fragmented and ambiguous and visceral all at once.

Who am I? Underneath the clothes, behind the eyes?
A string of breaths, a series of moments, blood slowly running. The ebb and flow.
What came before, that holds me now.
Do I hold it? Does it hold me?
This work explores what we have been gifted, given, entrusted with, thrust into, what has been passed on to us from the women that came before.
Blue eyes
big feet
mess
a love of tea.

Imagined in an alternate reality, perhaps it is a dreamscape. Intricately exploring, texturally opposing and isolated movement qualities. It is so mundane.
