    When a pair of elite soldiers have a grenade thrown into their trench, only one of them makes the ultimate sacrifice by jumping on the grenade. The dud grenade does not explode, but their friendship does – the consequent conversation reveals tensions that had previously been under the surface.

    Since performing their first theatre piece at Short + Sweet festival in 2018, Kahania Film & Theatre have produced a funded and commissioned short film, 800 Lunches and writer/director Bala Murali Shingade has written the first draft of an original play titled ‘What Have You Become?’, which was part of Proudly Asian Theatre’s Fresh Off The Page programme in 2019. Kahania Film & Theatre are back with a new short piece for the final iteration of Short + Sweet.
